senseBox:bike Training Mode

Here you can get the firmware to record training data. You need to enter the details of your smartphone hotspot because the box needs to sync the current timestamp with the internet using your hotspot. During the ride, the box will record acceleration and distance values to the SD card.

How to Modify Your senseBox:bike

  1. Open the lid and remove the SD card cover. Insert a micro SD card.
  2. Close the box again.
  3. Enter your smartphone hotspot credentials in the form below and download the firmware.
  4. Connect the senseBox:bike to your computer and move the firmware file to the appearing USB device.
  5. Your senseBox:bike should restart, and you can see the logs on the screen.

How to Use the Training Data Firmware

  1. Mount the senseBox:bike to your bike.
  2. Start the hotspot on your smartphone.
  3. Turn on the senseBox:bike.
  4. The senseBox:bike will connect to your hotspot, check the sensors, and start the recording. The senseBox:bike will blink every few seconds, indicating it is storing data on the SD card.
  5. Enable timestamps in your camera/GoPro settings to match video and recording later on.
  6. Turn on your camera/GoPro and record your ride.
  7. When you are done, turn off the senseBox:bike.
